Shoreline Synchro

Welcome to Shoreline Synchro!

Synchronized skating, also known as “synchro” is a team sport in which 5-20 skaters perform a program to music together. This form of skating is often characterized by teamwork, speed, intricate formations, and challenging step sequences and the objective is for the team to perform and move as one unit. (U.S. Figure Skating Aspire Program)

Shoreline Synchro creates a sense of belonging for all of our skaters, regardless of age, level, or skating ambitions. We believe we are stronger and more resilient when we show appreciation for what others are doing right and encourage all skaters to work toward common goals by embodying a learning mentality and being optimistic.

Our mission is to foster excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through the art and discipline of synchronized skating. We strive to empower each skater to grow in skill, confidence, and character while building a supportive and inclusive team environment.

We skate and show up every day above the line, showing Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility in our actions and words. We value active listening and asking good questions and show empathy daily. If a skater next to us falls, we are there to pick them up and ask “how can I help?”

  • Unite our skaters in their love of skating
  • Create lasting friendships
  • Be supportive of one another and the Shoreline Synchro family as a whole
  • Improve each individual’s skating skills, speed, endurance, and emotional expression on the ice to improve program components in Synchronized skating programs

  • Motivate all skaters to build great foundational skating skills to help Shoreline Synchro team to succeed
