Youth Hockey

The Rinks offer a variety of youth ice hockey programs for participants of all ages and ability levels. The Rinks are home to thousands of youth hockey players, whether you are new to the sport and looking to play hockey for the first time or have been playing for several years and looking for an AAA travel hockey program, The Rinks has a program available for you.

From the Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Hockey program and the Little Ducks Hockey Initiation Program – designed for first time skaters and players to get started in their hockey journey – to Hockey Initiation, In-House Recreation League, camps and travel hockey – The Rinks have the program you are looking for to continue your child’s skill development.

The Rinks are recognized as a Model Club Association through USA Hockey and are dedicated to age-appropriate, age-specific skill development, in accordance with USA Hockey’s American Development Model.

Learn to Play

The San Diego Gulls Learn to Play Hockey program powered by Bauer is a FREE introduction to hockey program for participants ages 4 to 12 with little to no prior skating or hockey experience.

Little Ducks

The Little Ducks program is part of the NHL Learn to Play initiative. This introduction to hockey program is for first time hockey players only and registration includes a FREE set of equipment. Basic skating skills required.

Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League

The Ducks launched the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League on July 1, 2008 with JSerra Catholic High School (San Juan Capistrano) as its charter member. Santa Margarita Catholic High (Santa Margarita) was added in 2009 and joined by Servite High (Anaheim), Damien High (La Verne) and Lutheran High School of Orange County (Orange) in 2010-11. Since 2011-12, the ADHSHL has added 43 teams from three different states and two different Canadian provinces. As the league continues to grow, the Anaheim Ducks will continue to provide financial support for each team involved in the program.
